Unlike most tinted balms, this one actually conditions. The tallow base absorbs rather than sitting on the surface — so your lips get the pigment and the moisture at the same time.

The color is perfect and I was about to order several more right off the bat (one for the car, one for home, one for my purse), but after wearing for a few days I found that the balm would dry on my lips leaving my lips to feel tight, cake-y and a little dry so I would have to apply a thinner balm or gloss with the tinted tallow balm to keep my lips moist.
